Dogs or cats?

"We love all kinds of animals. We have two small dogs, Charli & Rosie, and a cat, Riley, who have become our world. We are so happy to share our lives with them and take them along to vacation or just include them in every day activities so they feel how loved they are. When we are not with them, we are sure to provide them with the best care givers. Because we have such a deep love for animals, it is common that while vacationing, we often look local wild life or visit animal santuaries where we can see as many animals as possible." - Jacquelyn

"it's quiet but close to parks, schools, and a city. We're also really close to a lot of family and our kids will grow up spending lots of time with cousins!" - Mike

"As an adult, I have lived with both dogs and cats and have loved each animal. The curiosity and energy of dogs reminds me of a small child with all their questions. Meanwhile, cats remind me of teenagers: more emotionally separate, giving a vibe of indifference to their parents, but still worth loving." - Alex

"I am an adoptee! We will be able to better guide, support, and help your child navigate the complex feelings and hard questions that come with adoption because I've already had them. We will love you and your child uncondtionally, as will our families." - Alyssa

Favorite season and why?

"I know as a teacher I’m supposed to say summer, but I like spring the best. I love when the days are getting longer and the nights start getting warmer. Sweatshirt weather is my favorite. Plus spring makes me anticipate the end of the school year, graduation, and the start of summer break!" - Bob
