Dear expectant mom, We can’t imagine how overwhelming this process and decision is for you. Just know that we are so appreciative that you have taken the time to review our profile. While we can't promise that we will be perfect parents, we can promise we will do our best to raise our children in a loving home, where Christian values are taught. We will teach our children the value of hard work, but will also provide opportunities for them to have fun and explore their interests as well. If adoption is what you choose, we recognize the profound trust required to entrust another person with your child’s care and upbringing. We hope that we can gain that trust as we get to know each other. We would never take that relationship lightly and we will be sensitive to your needs and wishes. Ultimately, we understand this is your decision and you have to do what you feel is best. We truly believe that if something is meant to be, that everything will sort itself out. We pray that you will receive the guidance and strength that you need at this time. We know that God loves you and wants to bless you and your baby – however that may look.

My philosophy on parenting is...
Sometimes you have to let them fail. You can't be there to warn them of everything. All you can do is help stear them in the right direction and be there for them, but ultimately they have to figure it out for themselves.
-Calem
What scares you?
It's pitiful, but I am TERRIFIED of snakes. I'll blame it on walking home from the bus stop with a bunch of boys. Need I say more?
-Cassidy
If I could have dinner with anyone—dead or alive—I would pick...
My grandparents. All of my grandparents have passed and I miss them a lot. They were a big part of my life growing up and oh how I wish I could ask them some questions about horses, raising kids and just overall life help.
-Cassidy
We are the best choice because…
We can't promse that we will be "perfect" parents, but we can promise that we will do our best raise our children in a loving home where Christian values and the value of hardwork are taught. We will provide opportunity for our children to develop their interests as well.
-Cassidy
We enjoy raising a foal every year
Boating in Bear Lake
Do I have kids? How do they feel about a sibling?
Our daughter is three and doesn't quite understand what having a sibling entails, but she does mention wanting a brother or sister often. She is a social butterfly, so I am confident that she would love to have a sibling to play and cause trouble with.
-Cassidy
If you had to live on an RV or sailboat for the rest of your life, which would it be?
RV. I am more of a mountain gal than a beach gal, but I occasionally like to boat and play in the water, so an RV could get me the best of both worlds.
-Cassidy
Favorite season and why?
Fall. Because the weather is cooling down but you can still enjoy the outdoors. And things seem to be a little slower paced.
-Calem
Do you consider yourself religious or spiritual?
I am religious. It gives me purpose and direction in life.
-Calem
My best friend would describe me as...
A good listener, dependable and someone they can trust.
-Cassidy
My neighborhood is a good place to raise a family because…
We live at the end of a dirt road in the country, surrounded by pasture and corn fields. It's the perfect place for a kid to be a kid – playing with animals, dirt and letting their imagination run wild.
-Cassidy
My philosophy on parenting is...
You have to be adaptable. When you feel like you finally have the whole parenting thing down, they grow and change.

Texie's 2-year-old pictures (she looks like an influencer haha)
Texie playing with grandma's puppies
Texie loves her cousins. She has several of them that are around her age.
Dogs or cats?
Hands down dogs. But I have grown to like our cat named "Dennis."
-Cassidy
Dogs or cats?
Dogs. Because they obey orders and cats never listen (or at least ours never listens).
-Calem
If you had to live on an RV or sailboat for the rest of your life, which would it be?
I have to go with an RV because for one I can get motion sickness really bad and second, I wouldn't say that I'm a big ocean fan. With an RV I can travel around to different places and be able to walk around more.
-Calem
Do I have kids? How do they feel about a sibling?
If she really understands, she is super excited and intrigued with the thought of having a brother or sister. She definitely needs someone to play and cause trouble with. Plus, the animals need a break haha.
-Calem
Kids have always loved Calem

Texie and Gus are the best of friends
I'm super competitive when it comes to...
I am very competitive when it comes to improving myself. I am a high-achiever and constantly strive to improve my own abilities and set personal goals that challenge me to grow.
-Cassidy
Three years from now, I hope our child’s birth mom is…
I hope our child's birth mom is happy and at peace with her decision. I hope she can see how happy we are as a family and how much we love the child.
-Cassidy
Do you consider yourself religious or spiritual?
I am religous. My Christian faith is very important to me and gives me direction in life.
-Cassidy
If you had to pick a famous person to play you in a movie, who would it be?
John Wayne because like most im a pretty big fan, most of my childhood movies had to do with John Wayne Westerns, and me an my older brother were always reenacting one of his movies.
-Calem
What’s the first thing that comes to mind when you look at the night sky?
How amazed I am at God's creations. I also feel peaceful.
-Cassidy
What scares you?
SPIDERS!! I hate spiders, when I was younger I remember my dad smashing a spider in the house and it must have been a female because a hundered of these tiny spiders came crawling out all over, and from that day on they just give me the creeps. It works out good though – Cassidy is scared of snakes and I'm afraid of spiders. So I kill the snakes and Cassidy kills the spiders.
-Calem
Favorite season and why?
I can't say that I have a favorite. I love summer and all of its adventures, but I don't necessarily love the heat. I love fall and all the colors, but I don't necessarily love cleaning up the leaves. And I love all of the holidays in winter, but I hate driving in the snow. I guess I like the change that each season brings.

If I could choose one type of food to eat for the rest of my life, it would be:
Steak ... but steak with mashed potatoes ... can that count as one?
