"Be as inclusive, kind, communicative, and open as much as is comfortable for the birth mother. My father never knew who his father was for the last 75 years. We recently discovered who his dad was and what he looked like. To see the look on my dad's face when that puzzle piece was finally found meant the world to me. I saw a piece of his identity come into focus and it was a joy to see. Our future child should know their birth mother, but only as much as they are willing, capable, and comfortable." - Carlos
