Favorite season and why?

"Caroline and I both love the fall. The way the air smells in the evening, sitting around a fire pit with friends, days at the local apple orchard or pumpkin patch. We love the colors of fall and the excitment felt of the upcoming holiday season where we decorate and celebrate and spend time with loved ones. We also love fall because our favorite "holiday" takes place... HALLOWEEN! Every year for Halloween, we host a big party for our friends and their families. Children of all ages attend and everyone must wear a costume! There are activities for children such as scavenger hunts, pumpkin decorating, and a pinata! Our friends tell us every year how their children look forward to this party. Caroline and I spend weeks planning a theme and decorating, as well as coming up with new activities for the guests. This is by far our favorite party of the year." - Jacquelyn

"we live in the suburbs in the PNW. We have access to all kinds of parks, nature, and events, as well as living feet away from a highly rated elementary school!" - Steven

The most special thing I own is...

"a very specific tea mug. Most of my possessions have little sentimental value, including other mugs. However, a close friend gave this mug to me, and the text on it makes me smile. Later, another friend modified the text on it to make it even funnier. I no longer use it because of the delicacy of the modifications, but I frequently see it in the cupboard. It always reminds me of happy memories." - Alex

"Fall is my favorite season because life tends to slow down and people focus more on spending time with friends and family." - Sean Scott

My favorite place in the World is...

"Philadelphia. Whenever I’m coming back from being out of town and first see the city skyline, I feel an immediate sense of being home. If I had to pick somewhere I don’t live, I’d say Galway, Ireland, specifically around Christmas. Everyone is so cheerful and welcoming - Sam and I talk about going back all the time!" - Bob
