Favorite season and why?

"Caroline and I both love the fall. The way the air smells in the evening, sitting around a fire pit with friends, days at the local apple orchard or pumpkin patch. We love the colors of fall and the excitment felt of the upcoming holiday season where we decorate and celebrate and spend time with loved ones. We also love fall because our favorite "holiday" takes place... HALLOWEEN! Every year for Halloween, we host a big party for our friends and their families. Children of all ages attend and everyone must wear a costume! There are activities for children such as scavenger hunts, pumpkin decorating, and a pinata! Our friends tell us every year how their children look forward to this party. Caroline and I spend weeks planning a theme and decorating, as well as coming up with new activities for the guests. This is by far our favorite party of the year." - Jacquelyn

My neighborhood is a good place to raise a family because…

"We consider ourselves fortunate to call sunny San Diego home. We live in a quiet community called La Mesa, just a few miles inland from the beach. Our home is a three-bedroom house with a large yard and outdoor area that is perfect for enjoying the great weather Southern California has to offer. Within a few blocks from our home are several parks, schools, and walking trails that we visit with our dog often and hope to enjoy with our future child too. Our home is located on a safe, quiet street with other young families and retired couples. Each year we take pride in decorating our home with Christmas lights and Halloween decorations that make the holidays feel magical." - Eddy

Do you consider yourself religious or spiritual?

"I was raised Catholic, but now I identify as spiritual. I know there's something that connects us all, and I'm content to live my life honoring the beauty of life and my own personal values." - Anthony

Favorite season and why?

"I absolutely love a crisp fall day! There's nothing better than a slight breeze on a sunny fall day, it warms the soul. Fall is also the time when the craziness of summer starts to slow down and we can do more cozy camping in the trailer." - Greg
