Favorite season and why?

"Caroline and I both love the fall. The way the air smells in the evening, sitting around a fire pit with friends, days at the local apple orchard or pumpkin patch. We love the colors of fall and the excitment felt of the upcoming holiday season where we decorate and celebrate and spend time with loved ones. We also love fall because our favorite "holiday" takes place... HALLOWEEN! Every year for Halloween, we host a big party for our friends and their families. Children of all ages attend and everyone must wear a costume! There are activities for children such as scavenger hunts, pumpkin decorating, and a pinata! Our friends tell us every year how their children look forward to this party. Caroline and I spend weeks planning a theme and decorating, as well as coming up with new activities for the guests. This is by far our favorite party of the year." - Jacquelyn

My philosophy on parenting is...

"prioritizing creating a loving, stable environment filled with encouragement, respect, and open communication. We believe in leading with patience and compassion, encouraging their unique strengths, and supporting their growth and curiosity about the world around us. Surrounding our child with our loving network of family and friends will also be very important to us as we strive to raise someone who is well-rounded, empathetic, and a light to those around them. Celebrating holidays, hosting special gatherings, and traveling together as a family are some of the moments and memories we look forward to creating the most once our parenting journey begins." - Eddy

We are the best choice because…

"I know it is sterotypical, but we just have so much love to give. There isn't a day that goes by I don't think of what it would be like with another little one running around or exploring with us." - Elliot

My favorite place in the World is...

"Hawaii. It's not only beautiful, but the vibe there is just so laidback. When you're there, you're on a beautiful island in the middle of the Pacific Ocean. What's the rush?" - Bobby

If I could change one thing about the World, it would be...

"to build a world where everyone feels seen, heard, and valued" - Monica

Dogs or cats?

"Can I say both? We have a dog now who has the biggest personality and I can't imagine what our days would look like withouth her. My first pet growing up was a cat, though, and she was a huge part of my family's life for a good part of my childhood. We hope to continue to make pets a part of our home and our child's life as we look to start our family." - Derek
