"Fall is my favorite season. The cool weather, changing leaves, and yummy treats. It's just a beautiful time of year." - Sarah

My philosophy on parenting is...

"Sometimes you have to let them fail. You can't be there to warn them of everything. All you can do is help stear them in the right direction and be there for them, but ultimately they have to figure it out for themselves." - Calem

Three years from now, I hope our child’s birth mom is…

"Happy, healthy and content -- the same I would wish for anyone we care about." - Andy

Favorite season and why?

"Caroline and I both love the fall. The way the air smells in the evening, sitting around a fire pit with friends, days at the local apple orchard or pumpkin patch. We love the colors of fall and the excitment felt of the upcoming holiday season where we decorate and celebrate and spend time with loved ones. We also love fall because our favorite "holiday" takes place... HALLOWEEN! Every year for Halloween, we host a big party for our friends and their families. Children of all ages attend and everyone must wear a costume! There are activities for children such as scavenger hunts, pumpkin decorating, and a pinata! Our friends tell us every year how their children look forward to this party. Caroline and I spend weeks planning a theme and decorating, as well as coming up with new activities for the guests. This is by far our favorite party of the year." - Jacquelyn

"Summer! Long days, camping, hiking, BBQs, and all the things outside!" - Josh
