If you had to live on an RV or sailboat for the rest of your life, which would it be?
While I absolutely love a pontoon boat ride, I would have to say an RV so I could frequently visit family and friends, and travel to must-see spots across the USA (zoos, parks, restaurants, etc!)

The most special thing I own is...
An amazing old ring that belonged to my beloved aunt before we lost her in 2017, and a old photo (now framed on my wall) of my grandma, her 3 older sisters, and parents taken when she was just a baby.

Favorite season and why?
I love each season...fall for halloween, thanksgiving, and football....winter for cozy, snowy nights and holidays...spring means summer is around the corner, but summer is my absolute favorite!

Complete the sentence, “I can’t live without……”
our dog. She is so loving, and brings me fulfillment. I love being responsible for her happiness and maintaining her schedules. She has taught me a lot. I want her to have a human sibling!

My philosophy on parenting is...
To be gentle and teach with words and by example how to be caring and kind toward themselves, family, friends, and strangers, and to value who they are and what makes them uniquely themselves.

My favorite place in the World is...
Scotland! It is beautiful, has great history and culture, and interesting and friendly people. I can't wait to take a child on some exciting travels & to see the world.
-Nicholas
What is the best word to describe our family?
Non-judgmental. I'd also add we are fun, warm, caring, concerned with the world and taking care of people who need it the most, thoughtful, and loving.
-Mica
If I could choose one type of food to eat for the rest of my life, it would be:
Ribs! I love visiting restaurants for all kinds of bbq, and trying all different sauces and styles. I find the people who run bbq restaurants are great. I love a good, hearty bbq meal!
-Nicholas
Dogs or cats?
Our dog is a part of the family. She is one of the great loves of my life.

Complete the sentence, “I can’t live without……”
Family, friends, dog (Maddy), long walks around the neighborhood, sunshine (beach/park), supporting and being supported by others, favorite TV shows, my sports teams, hope, music, ranch dressing ;)

In five years our relationship with our child’s birth mother will…
be whatever feels right to you. and if that evolves over time for you, that is OK, too. we are flexible, respectful and understanding. it can be the same from day 1 or it can change over time.

A real llama was the VIP guest at a friend's house!
If you had to pick a famous person to play you in a movie, who would it be?
I would choose Adam Sandler because he turns every situation positive. He is funny and warm, but can be serious when needed. He has a lot of love for his family and friends.
-Nicholas
I'm super competitive when it comes to...
Rooting for my favorite football, basketball or baseball teams, Olympians.... or even my favorite contestants on tv like Survivor, The Voice or Dancing with the Stars.
-Mica
My favorite place in the World is...
My mom's house with my whole family together, doing fun activities, cooking and exploring nature near her home.
-Mica
Do I have kids? How do they feel about a sibling?
We do NOT have any kids yet, but our nieces and friends' kids would be a wonderful network of fun, loving and supportive cousins/friends for a child. They can't wait!
