Hey there! We’re Duncan and Becca! Thank you so much for learning about us. We don't know what has brought you to considering adoption, but we want you to know that we've got you. We are here to support you in this, as well as this child. Our story began in 2008 when we met at college and quickly became best friends. We eventually realized we loved each other, and after a semester apart, we knew we couldn't live without each other. We became engaged and eventually married in August 2009. After graduating college, we moved to Texas, where we lived for a little over six years until we were finally able to move back to Duncan's hometown in Wyoming. It took us quite a while to start our family, and after a pretty intense miscarriage, we began our initial discussions about adoption. However, five kids came quickly once we were able to successfully become pregnant. Each of them has been a miracle and we are beyond grateful for. But we’ve always kept that desire for adoption in the back of our minds, and finally feel like the time is right for that pursuit. Becca's favorite things include: dogs, the beach, weight lifting, hiking, camping, early morning walks, baking, being a mom, RV roadtrips, going to dinner with friends, dates with Duncan, family movie nights, all things oreo, cheesecake, and steaks. Duncan's favorites include: Hunting, fishing, hiking, camping, running races, weight lifting, smoking meat on the smoker, Thai food, off roading in his Jeep, snowmachining, and traveling. We are Christians. We are members of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints (both born and raised) and are active in our church and dedicated to our relationships with our Heavenly Father and Jesus Christ. Yes, we are a big family! We have a lot of experience and truly find joy in watching our children learn and grow. It is a new adventure every day and wouldn't have it any other way. We know the ups and downs of parenting and the struggles as well as the joys. This child will be surrounded with so many siblings to love and support them for their entire lives. They will never be bored or lonely! They will always have playmates or someone to hang out with everywhere they go. Being part of a big family is a huge blessing that we are thankful for every single day. We can't wait to share with the child we are lucky enough to adopt. We both feel strongly that we need to pursue the path of adoption to grow our family. We know there is a specific mom out there for us to meet, support, and love through this unique process. Whether or not that mother is you, and whether you choose us or another lucky family, we wish you all the best in making this difficult decision. We pray that you find the exact right family to place with, and that you find all the comfort and peace in that decision! If we are the right family for you and you choose us, we promise: • To support you as the birth mother in your decision, and will honor you in this child's life story. • To honor commitments we make to you as the birth mother. • To include you in all of our lives at whatever level you are comfortable with. • To love and support this child with our whole hearts, for their whole life, and for all eternity. • To raise them as a child of God, with a unique and divine destiny. • To protect them and raise them in a stable, safe, and loving environment; physically, emotionally, and spiritually. • To raise them to have good morals, ethics, and character. • To teach them to have a sense of humor and enjoy life. • To teach them to work hard, do their best, and know that they are enough. • To give them an excellent education and provide resources to explore their own interests as they grow. • To love them as they are and who they will become. No matter what. • To smile, laugh, and have a ton fun! We wish you the absolute best!

Our wedding day
I would never...
Eat bugs. Never ever.
-Becca
What scares you?
Heights. I don't like them myself, but what I really can't handle is when people I know are close to edges of high up places.
-Duncan
Do you consider yourself religious or spiritual?
Both. I am religious because I am spiritual.
-Becca
If you had to live on an RV or sailboat for the rest of your life, which would it be?
I would pick an RV. I was born and raised in the mountains and to give that up would be torture.

When Becca says she loves dogs...she LOVES dogs
What’s the first thing that comes to mind when you look at the night sky?
How beautiful the stars are. I love living where we do because it's known for the night lights. I just can't believe how God created all of this for us.
-Duncan
Favorite season and why?
I love winter. Things slow down and we can make awesome memories as a family in the snow. Also all the snow birds leave town and go south for the winter.
-Duncan
What’s the first thing that comes to mind when you look at the night sky?
How incredible it is that the very God that created the heavens, the moon and the stars, took time to create me specifically. It's humbling to know how intentional we are in this universe.
-Becca
If you had to pick a famous person to play you in a movie, who would it be?
Liam Neeson
-Duncan
My favorite place in the World is...
The beaches of the Oregon Coast. I grew up going to my grandparent's beach house almost every weekend and so it's a special place for me to visit as much as I can!
-Becca
In five years our relationship with our child’s birth mother will…
I hope we are genuine friends who communicate regularly. I would love for us to have a healthy relationship to bless not only our lives but the life of the child we both love fiercely.
-Becca
Dogs or cats?
Dogs, all the way.
-Duncan
At the beach
Three years from now, I hope our child’s birth mom is…
Happy, healthy, and confident in their decison.
-Becca
Favorite season and why?
Fall! I love how the leaves change color and the temperatures turn cooler. I love sweaters, hot chocolate, and the pumpkin flavored everything! I also love how all the bugs start to die. No mosquitoes or spiders for 6 months! It's glorious!
-Becca
I hope our child’s birth mother is…
You!
-Becca
If I could change one thing about the World, it would be...
That everyone would know what it is like to be loved unconditionally.

Do I have kids? How do they feel about a sibling?
We have five children between the ages nine and two. They pray every day that we will "find the baby we are supposed to adopt". They talk about this child as though they are already apart of our family. He or she will be so lucky having so many siblings to grow close to and bond with. They will never be lonely or bored. They'll always have someone to play with or lean on for support for the rest of their lives.
-Becca
What is the best word to describe our family?
Forever.
-Becca
I'm super competitive when it comes to...
Board games and sports.
-Becca
When we argue, what’s it about?
How to use a laundry basket. I think the clothes go inside, while he argues that they belong in a pile on the floor next to the basket.
-Becca
If you had to pick a famous person to play you in a movie, who would it be?
Doris Day! But she is dead so that might be tricky...
-Becca
My favorite place in the World is...
Anywhere with my family. As long as they are with me I could be anywhere.
-Duncan
Complete the sentence, “I can’t live without……”
Duncan, my kids, and cheesecake.
-Becca
Road Tripping to Washington
Summer night in our backyard.
Dogs or cats?
Dogs. Always dogs.
-Becca
If you had to live on an RV or sailboat for the rest of your life, which would it be?
RV. We already have one so I know how great they are! I love that you can drive anywhere! The beach, the desert, the mountains, the lake, anywhere! Your options are limited on a sailboat. My dogs would go nuts cooped up on a boat too. Also- I sunburn easily so I'd be a lobster living on a sailboat.
