My neighborhood is a good place to raise a family because…
it's the absolute best! We have a perfect mix of older folks and younger folks. We're close friends with almost all of our neighbors. We have parks and schools really close by.
-Luke
Three years from now, I hope our child’s birth mom is…
a part of our child's life and that she feels strongly that she made the best choice for her child.
-Luke
If I could choose one type of food to eat for the rest of my life, it would be:
Mexican food!

What is the best word to describe our family?
Fun!
-Luke
My philosophy on parenting is...
Always taking the time to connect with my child on their level- in the good moments and in the hard moments.
-Meg

Happy and healthy and a part of our lives.

Favorite season and why?
Summer for sure. My wife and I are teachers, we have such fun adventures!
-Luke
Do you consider yourself religious or spiritual?
Yes I do. My faith is very important to me.
-Meg
I hope our child’s birth mother is…
the type of person who vibes well with our family. I hope she shares many of our values and interests.
-Luke
When we argue, what’s it about?
We don't argue often, but most of our tough conversations have to do with how something we did or said made the other person feel unloved.
-Luke
Do I have kids? How do they feel about a sibling?
Our son Wayne talks about our "baby" all the time. He is so ready to love on our new arrival.
-Luke
If you had to live on an RV or sailboat for the rest of your life, which would it be?
An RV! (In fact, I've already lived in one before. Not bad!)
-Meg
Do I have kids? How do they feel about a sibling?
We have a 5 year old named Wayne and he is beside himself with excitement about getting another sibling! He refers to his future sibling as "his baby" and draws pictures of what he thinks our family will look like.
-Meg
We are the best choice because…
We have a love that expands to fit the people in our lives. There is always more room. The more the merrier!

My philosophy on parenting is...
Kids are incredible. If you give them unconditional love, set solid boundaries, and provide them with oportunites to grow they can flourish in ways that you wouldn't believe or expect.
-Luke
When we argue, what’s it about?
Navigating on road trips! ;) And other classic things that you would expect. We always circle back and make sure that we have heard and understood where the other person is coming from. Resolution is important.
-Meg
My favorite place in the World is...
Quiet riversides- I'm not picky about the river! I just love the water.
-Meg
Favorite season and why?
Summertime! I love sunshine and all the things that come with it- gardening, time at the river, and hanging out with my friends and family in lawnchairs.
-Meg
My best friend would describe me as...
Steady
-Luke
My neighborhood is a good place to raise a family because…
We live in a very tight-knit neighborhood with a great mix of ages and personalities. We have lots of young families like us and we also have older families who are our parents' ages. We water each others' gardens, borrow eggs, and hang out and barbeque just for fun! It's a wonderful place.
