We want to take this opportunity to introduce ourselves. We are Meaghan and Doug, a fun, loving, and dedicated couple excited to grow our family through adoption. We understand this decision is complex, and we want to assure you that we have the utmost respect for you and your love for your child. We know this is a confusing and challenging time for you while you try to figure out the best option for you and your baby. We hope that you feel supported and loved no matter where you are in your journey. We admire you so much for choosing life and for considering adoption. Our journey to parenthood has been filled with hope, love, and a deep desire to provide a nurturing and supportive home for a child. We struggled with infertility for several years and are eager to take the next step to becoming parents. We believe that family isn’t defined by genetics but by our love and commitment to each other. As parents, we promise to provide a safe, stable, and loving home where your child can thrive and reach their full potential. We are committed to supporting their dreams, encouraging their passions, and helping them navigate challenges with compassion and understanding. Your child will know how your profound love and bravery made us a family. We want you to be confident in your decision, and if you choose us, know that this doesn’t mean your relationship with your child ends here. We will continually support your relationship with your child in whatever form is comfortable for you. We hope to develop a trusting relationship with you and that you are confident we will raise your child to achieve their hopes and dreams.

My neighborhood is a good place to raise a family because…
It's very quiet and safe. We have a playground a short walk away, and lots of trees and walking trails for kids to play safely.
-Doug
If I could have dinner with anyone—dead or alive—I would pick...
My grandma. She was the most supportive and loving grandma. She taught me so much. She was also hilarious and we had a lot of fun together.
-Meaghan
In five years our relationship with our child’s birth mother will…
hopefully be a strong, healthy friendship.

Sailboat. I would love to be able to travel around the world.

If I could choose one type of food to eat for the rest of my life, it would be:
Tacos. They can be made as breakfast, lunch, dinner, and dessert.

Complete the sentence, “I can’t live without……”
Laughter. It's good for the soul.

If you had to live on an RV or sailboat for the rest of your life, which would it be?
A sailboat so I can travel around the whole world.

Complete the sentence, “I can’t live without……”
Coffee. The smell, the flavor, it's the best part of waking up.

Dogs or cats?
Both! However, I tend to be drawn to the cats that act like litte dogs!
-Meaghan
Three years from now, I hope our child’s birth mom is…
Being kind to herself. The decision she made is courageous but I can never pretend to know what it's like to be in her shoes. I hope she knows her child will always know how loved they are by her, and how loved she is by us.
