Hello!

Thank you for taking the time to look at our profile! (Learn even more about us on our adoption agency site linked above) We won't pretend to know or understand the journey you have found yourself on that has led you to consider an adoption plan for your child. What we do know is that if chosen to adopt your child, we will love them unconditionally, care for them with all our energy, and pour our whole selves into supporting them and keeping them safe through the ups and downs of life. We also hope to be an anchor for you during this process. We want to offer you strength and hope. We promise: You will be seen. You will be heard. You will be loved. We look forward to the possibility of meeting you and getting to know you better. Much Love,

David & Adam

We are food lovers through and through, seen here enjoying a night out for pizza at a favorite dive in David's old college town. Please note, we try not to take ourselves too seriously. :)

Dogs or cats?

Cats are cool, but dogs are where it's at.

Favorite season and why?

Fall, by far! It brings sweet relief from the heat, fills the world with rich and fiery colors, and is synonymous with sweaters and soup. There's nothing like adding extra layers, and roasting up an array of veggies to puree!

-David

If I could change one thing about the World, it would be...

to eliminate the fear of what makes us different from each other.

-Adam

My philosophy on parenting is...

Providing gentle but clear expectations and boundaries. Helping our children understand that actions have consequences and to be aware of the impact on themselves and others.

-Adam

My favorite place in the World is...

with my chosen family!

-Adam

My neighborhood is a good place to raise a family because…

the neighbors are lovely, and kids still come out to play with each other!

-David

What’s the first thing that comes to mind when you look at the night sky?

Absolute beauty, and surely there's life out there!

-David

Complete the sentence, “I can’t live without……”

human interaction, coffee, and music!

-David

The most special thing I own is...

my upright piano. It was a gift from a dear religious sister I was close with in college. She's now passed away, and it inspires me and fills our house with music daily.

-David

What scares you?

Snakes, spiders, and tornados!

-David

If I could have dinner with anyone—dead or alive—I would pick...

My grandma (my mom's mom). She died before I was born and is the only grandparent I never knew.

-Adam

Do you consider yourself religious or spiritual?

I do! As an LGBTQIA+ Catholic, I have worked hard to reconcile those aspects of my identity. My faith is important to me, but is never an excuse to be judgemental of others.

-Adam

If I could choose one type of food to eat for the rest of my life, it would be:

Pizza! You can make almost anything into a pizza topping, so I'd never get bored!

-Adam

If you had to live on an RV or sailboat for the rest of your life, which would it be?

RV! I've always wanted to live in a tiny house. As a tall man nervous about open water, living on a sailboat would be a nightmare ;o)
