We are Carrie and Kevin and live in Metro Detroit with our dog Winnie. Thank you for your courage, strength, and love you have for your child in considering an adoption plan. We appreciate the opportunity to provide a warm and loving home for your child. Adoption has always been important to us, and after some previous health challenges, we knew our path to parenthood would include adoption. We have long envisioned opening our hearts and home to a child. Our goal is to provide a life filled with love, joy, exploration, and support, where they can grow up as their authentic self. We understand this decision is not easy, and we hope you have the support you need to choose what’s best for you and your child. We wish you all the best and hope to meet you soon.

What is the best word to describe our family?
Curious. We like to explore new restaurants, shops, and activities near our home, but also travel to unfamiliar destinations.

Favorite season and why?
Fall - I love going on nature walks with the crunchy leaves and fresh air. After apple picking I make tons of applesauce and apple cakes.

We are the best choice because…
We'd unconditionally love and support any child so that they can live a full and meaningful life.

The most special thing I own is my camera. It's always with me and captures the memories we make.

My neighborhood is a good place to raise a family because…
It is full of friendly families, has tons of playgrounds, excellent schools, and fun events throughout the year.

Dogs or cats?
Dogs. Their love and emotional bond is infectious. The way they get so excited even if you were gone for just one minute brings a smile to my face. Fun fact...we both grew up with a dog named Cosmo.

Complete the sentence, “I can’t live without……”
Chocolate! After having to taste test what I made while working in a chocolate shop in high school it is an obsession I do not want to give up.

If you had to live on an RV or sailboat for the rest of your life, which would it be?
An RV - this sounds like a great way to travel the US and visit more National parks on our bucket list.
