What is the best word to describe our family?

Close-knit. We enjoy each other’s company and like to do most things together. I believe this stems from our upbringing. For me, growing up my family would do everything together: from grocery shopping to weekly chores. Family is something very important to us, so we continue to remain close-knit to our parents and siblings. We try to celebrate every birthday and majoy holiday with family, and enjoy traveling with them too.

I would have to say my grandparents. I never got to meet any of my grandparents, as they all passed away before I was born. I think I would just like for them to know that I am happy, thriving, and hope to make them proud.

To quote the great Ron Swanson, "Any dog under 50 pounds is a cat and cats are pointless." I grew up with a chocolate lab and I'm just waiting for Annie to let me get a dog!

My neighborhood is a good place to raise a family because…

it is a small community with access to a pool, hiking trails, a butterfly farm, and is in a great school district. We're also just a 90 min drive from Annie's family and a 90 min flight from mine, so family is always close by and accessible!

Interesting question. I don't think I care about any celebrities enough. I would probably go for more of a historical figure so I can hear or experience a cool historic event. I think I'll chose a direct relative from 200 or so years ago so that I can see where I came from and what kind of life they lived.

our home; it is my safe place, a place of comfort and refugee. Our home is a curated space filled with things that bring me solace. As much as we love to travel and explore new places, nothing beats our home.

My philosophy on parenting is...

Honestly, I don't know yet.. it's a tough balance on all fronts and an eternal learning process. I just want to make sure that our children learn discipline while still enjoying freedom.
