Hi! We’re Kevin and Addie, and we’re thrilled to introduce ourselves and share our story with you. Our journey together started when we met on the Hinge app in March 2019 and had our first date playing mini golf in Del Mar, California. Since then, we got married in 2021 and moved to a suburb outside Portland, OR with our four fur-babies in 2022. We instantly fell in love with our home, especially its spacious backyard with a large lawn and garden beds. Living next to a 20-mile trail, we can often be found taking our dog, Palmer, for long walks during the early evenings. Addie grew up in Long Beach, CA with her parents and two younger siblings. Though our family now spans across California, Hawaii, and Australia, we stay incredibly close through weekly FaceTime calls and annual family vacations. Addie works as a Program Manager at a special education staffing company. In her downtime, she enjoys reading, cooking, baking, gardening, and cozying up for movie nights—especially with Disney classics. Kevin was raised in Los Angeles, CA with his parents and two older siblings. While most of his family remains in the LA area, his brother now lives in Denver, Colorado. We cherish our time with our nieces, whom we visit frequently during trips to LA. Family is extremely important to Kevin and we try to all get together multiple times a year, including one big family camping trip for our niece’s birthday in San Diego. Kevin is a golf professional at a Country Club and passionate about teaching people the sport. He loves golfing, BBQ-ing, gaming, and staying active. As an avid sports fan (Lions and Dodgers), we are often attending or watching games. We love traveling, exploring new areas/towns, going to farmers markets, concerts or other shows, or just finding other activities happening in our area. We can be found going out and finding new adventures, but are also perfectly happy staying at home and having movie marathons (especially Marvel and Harry Potter). Our deepest hope is to nurture a loving and supportive relationship with our child, fostering an environment where they feel safe and encouraged to share their joys, fears, and dreams. We eagerly anticipate creating lasting memories, providing a nurturing home, and wholeheartedly supporting our child as they navigate life’s journey. Whether it’s dance recitals, baseball games, science camps, or music concerts—whatever brings them joy, we can’t wait to experience it alongside them. Additionally, we aspire to build a respectful and open relationship with our child’s birth parents and family, fostering trust, empathy, and understanding through open communication. Our aim is to create a supportive and inclusive family dynamic where our child feels cherished and loved. Thank you for taking the time to get to know us. we are in a stable, loving and committed relationship that we want to share with our child. We are each others best friends and share so much love between each other that we cannot wait to share with our little one.

I cannot answer this! I like to say I grew up in a zoo because we had so many pets growing up; dogs, cats, fish, frogs, hampsters, rabbits, turtles, there was even a squirrel that we were feeding. I love all animals and having pets is a big part of my life. Right now, we have 4 cats and a dog and I love all of them!

My Great Grandma, Momo. She passed away when I was 14. I would love to make dinner with her and learn all of the Italian recipes I didn't get a chance to learn while she was alive. Then I would like to sit down and just talk each others ears off for hours.

We do not have any kids, but we have neices and our friends kids who are over the moon to have another kid join the family! Our neices are so excited and are doing their own adoption research through books and tv shows that feature adoption

Both, if I could, I would rescue all of the animals.

I would live in an RV becasue i have always wanted to see all of the continental US states.

That the world is a lot smaller than we think.

it is queit, family oriented, very walkable, and a lot of cool things to see near by like lakes, parks, trails, etc.

Fiji! My family went a bunch of times on surf trips to an island called Tavarua. It is the most magical place I have ever been.

My best friend would describe me as...
Addie is deeply caring, always going above and beyond to make sure the people in her life feel loved, supported, and truly understood. Her wisdom and patience guide those around her, as she offers thoughtful advice and steady support in times of need. Her unwavering kindness and generosity create a warm, nurturing environment, making her a reliable source of comfort and strength for everyone fortunate enough to know her.

My best friend would describe me as...
Kevin is loyal, reliable, patient and loving. Overall he's someone you love being around. We've shared plenty of laughs and good times in our 20+ years of being friends. I'm very proud of who he has become and all of his accomplishments. He's been able to set and fulfill many of his goals. He's a great husband to his wife Adelynn. Together they are beautiful and deserve every blessing.

If I could change one thing about the World, it would be...
I wish everyone had the opportunity to see other peoples cultures and ways of life. I think this would bring about a lot of understanding of how others think and act which would ultimately bring more compassion and empathy into the world.

If you had to live on an RV or sailboat for the rest of your life, which would it be?
Definitely an RV. Although I love the water, I do not like the thought of being in the middle of the ocean at night. I have always wanted to take a year off and travel around the country in an RV or van. I love road trips and I think it is one of the best ways to see unique places that you wouldn't see flying into a city.

Favorite season and why?
Spring! I love seeing the flowers start to bloom and the weather start to get warmer without being unbearably hot. Living in Portland, the cherry blossom trees bloom right outside our house and it is the most beautiful time of the year.

I would say I am defintely spiritual. I was raised Catholic, but left the church when I was 18. I would now like to think my family members or friends who have passed are looking over me.

Openness and Supportive - I want our child to feel they can come to either one of us with anything and know they will be met with compassion and support. I also want our child to always know we are there for all big and small moments in their life. Our child should feel empowered to explore their identity and embrace their unique journey.

My neighborhood is a good place to raise a family because…
We live in a small suburb with a small town feel outside the big city, 10 miles outside of Portland. Our house backs up to a forest with a 20-mile trail that we have direct access to. Our neighborhood is very family-oriented, with great schools, parks, restaurants, markets, and even a yearly 4th of July parade/block party. Our cul-de-sac has a community grass area with a basketball hoop, lounge chairs & garden beds. Neighborhood kids are out playing together almost every night.
