Our names are Evan and Wesley and we are excited about this adoption journey! Wesley is the tall one (6’5”; great for changing light bulbs) and Evan is the funny one (or at least he thinks he is; he’s been practicing dad jokes for years!). We’ve both always wanted to be parents. And we know how difficult this decision is for you, so we make this promise to you that we will be the best parents we can be. We will raise your child... -to value kindness and compassion. -to think for themselves. -to stand up for the underdogs. -to do what is right even when “right” is hard. We promise your child will never be hit or harmed and we promise to fill this home with love. When we argue, what’s it about?
When it comes to arguments, our battleground is the dinner table - "What's for dinner" edition! It's like a culinary clash of opinions. I am the one that typically cooks and when we can't decide,sometimes DoorDash and UberEats end up being the best tie-breaker!

If you had to pick a famous person to play you in a movie, who would it be?
My top pick would be Joel McHale (from shows like The Soup and Community). Mainly because when Evan and I lived in New York City, people would stop and ask me to take pictures with them because they thought I was Joel McHale.

Favorite season and why?
Autumn is my absolute favorite season! The leaves changing colors, the cozy afternoons on the patio sipping a cold beer or glass of red wine. Oh and no sweating! Cuts back on me having to change clothes multiple-times a day (and I make enough laundry as is!).

Dogs or cats?
Paws down, my answer is "both." It's probably why we have a dog that acts like a cat and two cats that act like dogs. Our future child will have the chance to experience the best of both worlds.

If you had to live on an RV or sailboat for the rest of your life, which would it be?
Sailboat! In fact, right after college, I looked into buying a houseboat to live on instead of an apartment! When Evan and I move next, we'll be back near the ocean which is good enough for us!
