Hello!

Thank you for taking the time to glimpse into who we are. We are honored you are considering us as adoptive parents. The responsibility is a privilege we have planned for and have been anxiously awaiting for a long time. The courage and strength required to choose adoption for your child is unmeasurable. We can only imagine how you must be feeling. How much can you really learn about two people from a few photos? If there’s one thing we want you to know, it’s that we will love your child unconditionally and will raise them to be the best version of themselves. We have wanted to be parents since we fell in love years ago. And we are incredibly grateful that you may give us that opportunity.

Our rescue dog, Mookie. He is such a sweet, cuddly boy and he brings so much joy to our lives.

Christmas morning 2024. Mookie LOVES presents. He dives his whole head into the gift bag to see what's inside.

My best friend would describe me as...

Kind, loyal and fun to be around! I care about my friends deeply—they are like family to me. I try to show my love for them often, be it through a thoughful text or phone conversation, sending a birthday gift in the mail and making the effort to spend time with them, despite living hours apart. I'm a naturally happy person and I love to have fun, so there's always lots of laughter when I'm with my friends.

Do you consider yourself religious or spiritual?

I grew up going to a Lutheran church and have happy memories of that community of folks. Though I'm not religious now. I am spiritual in the sense that I believe loved ones who have passed surround and support me.

If I could have dinner with anyone—dead or alive—I would pick...

My Grandfather. He passed away 20 yars ago. I wish I had more time with him. He helped shape me into the man I am today. He was one of my biggest role models.

If I could choose one type of food to eat for the rest of my life, it would be:

I love all food but if I could only eat one thing for the rest of my life, I'd have to say tacos.

What’s the first thing that comes to mind when you look at the night sky?

How lucky I am to be alive.

My neighborhood is a good place to raise a family because…

It's just that, a neighborhood! There are families and children of all ages. In the summer, you can always see kids riding their bikes or running around in all the yards. In the winter, it's sledding and snowball rights. My brother and sister-in-law live 4 houses up the street with our 1 year old nephew, Henry. I can't wait for the day I see Henry and our future child (and maybe some other cousins by then) running around playing themselves.

If I could choose one type of food to eat for the rest of my life, it would be:

Soup! It's cozy, delicious and so versatile.

-Victoria

Favorite season and why?

Summer! We are outside all day every day.

-David

The most special thing I own is...

An old map of where I grew up in New Jersey. My Dad found this map in an old filing cabinet and gave it to me. And my mother- and father-in-law got it framed for my birthday a few years ago.

-Victoria

What scares you?

The thought of my family or friends getting sick.

-David

We are the best choice because…

We've put so much work into ourselves and our relationship over the years that we are so secure in who we are as individuals and together as a couple. So when we do become parents, we'll be able to focus all our energy and love on our child.

-Victoria

Dogs or cats?

Dogs. We love our rescue mutt, Mookie. He brings us so much joy!

-David

If I could change one thing about the World, it would be...

How judgemental people can be. So long as it's not causing harm, let people live their lives!

-Victoria

My favorite place in the World is...

Our backyard!

-David

If you had to live on an RV or sailboat for the rest of your life, which would it be?

An RV. I love camping (David and I do it every summer) and being out in nature!

-Victoria

My best friend would describe me as...

Genuine and personable. I love meeting people and feel I am good at building relationships.

-David

My philosophy on parenting is...

Raise children to be the best versions of themselves. Challenge them to try new things and find adventure in their lives. Be there for them at all times and raise them to be kind and compassionate

-David

What scares you?

Knowing that my loved ones won't be here someday.

-Victoria

What’s the first thing that comes to mind when you look at the night sky?

How expansive the universe really is. It puts things into perspective and reminds me to not sweat the small stuff.
