In Idaho, any adult who lives in the state and is at least 25 years old or at least 15 years older than the child may adopt. Adopting families may cover the birth mom’s unreimbursed medical, legal, counseling and living expenses and lost wages due to pregnancy. Consent to adoption is irrevocable upon signing. Fun fact: Idaho grows a third of all America's potatoes!
