My best friend would describe me as...

Dependable, strong-willed, loyal and fun.

-Mackenzie

Do you consider yourself religious or spiritual?

Spiritual!

-Robyn

Favorite season and why?

Fall! I love the leaves changing and not sweating so much when I’m outside.

-Robyn

Complete the sentence, “I can’t live without……”

-Mackenzie

If I could choose one type of food to eat for the rest of my life, it would be:

chicken tacos!

-Robyn

What scares you?

Uncertainty, and water chestnuts!

-Robyn

What is the best word to describe our family?

Quirky.

-Mackenzie

My philosophy on parenting is...

to create a safe, nurturing atmosphere to encourage a child to become wholly and authentically themselves.

-Robyn

Complete the sentence, “I can’t live without……”

sunshine, our dog Lucas, and adventures to the mountains.

-Robyn

My favorite place in the World is...

home, with Mackenzie and Lucas.

-Robyn

If you had to live on an RV or sailboat for the rest of your life, which would it be?

RV! I’d love to travel to the mountains and drive place to place!

-Robyn

If I could choose one type of food to eat for the rest of my life, it would be:

Tacos.

-Mackenzie

We are the best choice because…

We are in no rush, but we are ready. We are ready for our family to grow, not just by a child, but by a whole new family lineage, traditions and love.

-Robyn

Dogs or cats?

Dog! We adore our baby Lucas.

-Robyn

I'm super competitive when it comes to...

Everything.

-Mackenzie

When we argue, what’s it about?

We don’t argue really, but when we disagree, it’s usually about me wanting a relaxing day and Robyn considering “a short 4 mile walk” relaxing!

-Mackenzie

What’s the first thing that comes to mind when you look at the night sky?

Peace! I’m an early bird, and I love the quiet and peace of early mornings and dark starry skies!

-Robyn

What is the best word to describe our family?

Loving. Second best - light-hearted!

-Robyn

In five years, our relationship with our birth mother will...

familial. Our dream is that adoption can grow our family, not just by a child, but also by the family and history they bring with them.

-Robyn

Dogs or cats?

Dogs! Robyn had convinced me to get a cat when we first moved in together, but then a friend found Lucas and was looking for a home for him. Thank goodness we returned the cat litter for Lucas!!
