We always like to try something new when we travel. Here we are canyoning in Utah.

My neighborhood is a good place to raise a family because…

It reminds us both of the neighborhoods we grew up in, a close knit community on a small street where the kids grow up together and become lifelong friends.

If I could choose one type of food to eat for the rest of my life, it would be:

Vanilla cake with vanilla buttercream frosting.

My philosophy on parenting is...

to be open and honest and allow our child to grow with individuality. A balanced approach that has expectations and boundaries but allows for flexibility and gives our child the resources to thrive.

-Chuck

Dogs or cats?

Dogs. I grew up with both dogs and cats but Anne and I have had two amazing dogs together.

The most special thing I own is...

my stuffed dog Pepper. I've had him since I was about one. He's brown with white ears and growing up I always wanted a stuffed dog that was white with brown ears. I found that dog when I met Chuck.

Do you consider yourself religious or spiritual?

I grew up with religion but as an adult I follow a more spiritual path with a deep sense of trust that everything is going to be ok and the universe is looking out for me.

If I could choose one type of food to eat for the rest of my life, it would be:

BBQ. I love sharing small pieces with our dog Abby.

In five years our relationship with our child’s birth mother will…

If I could change one thing about the World, it would be...

more kindness and empathy.

Three years from now, I hope our child’s birth mom is…

healthy, happy, and part of our life however she chooses to be.

Favorite season and why?

Summer. I love a hot summer day, preferably at the beach!

I'm super competitive when it comes to...

game night! Games were and are big in my family and with two older brothers it was always competitive. I love that we continue to play games as a family when we all get together.
