Our wedding 2019

Weekend spent with family. 2020

Pete and I with Jenni my sister and her partner they will be our children’s God Parents .
If I could change one thing about the World, it would be...
That there was less suffering. There is a lot of pain involved in living. It teaches us but it also hurts. I wish people could learn the lessons with less of the hurt.
-Kim
What scares you?
Something happening to one of my loved ones.
-Kim
My philosophy on parenting is...
Love, listen, understand, boundaries and some more love. I’m sure it will be less idealistic once we are going through the ups and downs of raising a child.
-Kim
Do you consider yourself religious or spiritual?
I grew up in a very religious home and have found that organized religion is not for me. I do feel spiritual especially when in the outdoors.

Camping in the Cascades 2019

Hawaii hike 2021

Four wheeling at a family friends ranch
The most special thing I own is...
We have two dogs we really love. Out side of that most things can be replaced.
-Kim
Do I have kids? How do they feel about a sibling?
We do not have kids yet.
-Kim
When we argue, what’s it about?
Generally time management. Running two business makes it hard to find time for each other. I plan to step away from work once we adopt to alleviate that stress.
-Kim
What is the best word to describe our family?
United. They can always be counted on. Even when there are disagreements you never question that they will be there.
-Kim
My best friend would describe me as...
Kim- kind, generous, funny a little weird? Pete- funny, generous, laidback, dependable.
-Kim
My favorite place in the World is...
Floating in a little lake in the North Cascades. My family has been going to the lake since I was an infant. Every time we brake through the trees and see it my heart feels full.
-Kim
What scares you?
Losing a loved one.
-Pete

In five years, our relationship with our birth mother will...
Until we know each other and what everyone’s needs are that’s an impossible question to answer.

An RV, with a boat towing behind it .
