Dear you—the person who will give us the gift of a lifetime, Thank you for considering us to be the parents of your child. We understand how important a decision this is for you, and we want you to know how excited and ready we are to be parents. Our resources and our capacity to love and nurture are plentiful. Your child—our child—will be loved unconditionally and given the foundation, support, and guidance they need to grow into their highest potential at every age and milestone in life. This child has grandparents, aunts and uncles, cousins, extended family and friends, and a cat named Yuki waiting to meet and love them and enrich their experiences. We have many hopes for our child, but the most important are that they will know they are loved, and they will have every opportunity to find satisfaction and joy in life. We also want you to know that it’s very important to both of us to honor the heritage of our child, make it a part of our family life, especially if their racial or ethnic heritage is different from ours. We value and enjoy learning about cultures, be it art, music, language, or history. So we intend to make sure our child feels connected to their heritage, and has the community or mentorship they need to feel true belonging. Please look at our full profile book to learn more about us. And we can't wait to learn more about you too. This is a very hopeful time for us! We're excited to finally meet our child and hold them in our arms. There is a rocking chair, a stack of children’s books, and an owl night light here at home waiting for a little person to arrive. Most importantly, we are grateful to you for choosing adoption placement for your child because it is making dreams like ours come true. With love, Amy and Andrew

If you had to live on an RV or sailboat for the rest of your life, which would it be?
RV! It's one of my dreams to own an RV (with solar panels) and take roadtrips to visit family or friends who live away, and to visit places like Marfa Texas (for the art) and national parks. I love the ocean so much, but I woudn't feel comfortable living on it.

Dogs or cats?
Would love a dog! A shiba Inu would be a great hiking companion. Maybe one day. We've always had cats. Even before we met each other. Yuki is our rambuncious, 8 year old calico. She loves sleeping in sunbeams, sitting in boxes, eating, and ocassionally pretending shes a crab.
