We are the best choice because…

I mean, I HOPE we're the best choice. We are family-oriented, we like to travel and see the world, but we still stay plugged in to our commuity at home. I've never been a parent before, but as we were both raised that way, I feel like those are good and healthy things to prioritize: growth and family.

What is the best word to describe our family?

LOVE. We feel that we are blessed with lots of love to give and we feel very loved. We truly love each other, our families, our pet – Roni, the nature that surrounds our home, and everything life has to offer! We believe that love is the foundation- or the trunk of a tree from which branches, that carry nurturance, patience, passion, acceptance, laughter, and fun can grow. Our primary reason for growing our family stems from LOVE.

The people are amazing and welcoming, and the schools are fantastic. There is so much for families and kids to do, and people make an effort to get to know their neighbors. I love it here!

If I could choose one type of food to eat for the rest of my life, it would be:

Noodles! I love spaghetti, ramen, lo mein, and mac n' cheese. The sauce is the thing that makes all noodle dishes next level.

Our dog is a part of the family. She is one of the great loves of my life.

I love both dearly, but since Ryan is allergic to cats we have been a dog-only family! We currently have Benny, who is a rescue pup from Puerto Rico. He was found on the streets with his siblings. He was only a few days old so hasn’t really experienced hardship or trauma. He’s excellent with children and older adults. We take him to visit our 90-year-old grandma in her nursing home. He calms down when he sees her and just lays on her bed with her. We also walk him around our neighborhood a few times a day, all the kids know him by name and come up to him and hug him (and sometimes kiss him too). He’s a schnauzer mix and is full of curiosity and spunk. We love dogs and are so excited for Benny to have a sibling to love and protect!

We have a love that expands to fit the people in our lives. There is always more room. The more the merrier!
